ok at the opening of bull and turtle bay there are big flats that changes from grass to sand......if you can find some white bait USE IT!!!!! stand in the grass and get the sand bar just in casting range.....cast to the sand bar and slowly reel you bait back....you can also do this with shrimp,jigs,spoons,and top water......work the channels ang cut on the out going tide.........if you stickin to the surf walk (or ride the boat) down to the south end of the island befor the sun gets up and work the cut with plugs,jigs,live bait,......i like using top water but thats just me(make sure theres a good current flow).......MAN this is just the begging.......if you have a GPS i can give you some numbers of a few spots both offshore and in the back country just let me know if you want em

I've eaten them and they aren't as good as freshwater catfish, but they are edible. Just don't get spined.

It is a Sea Cat AKA Hard head catfish. Yuo can eat them, they just don't have the sweet white meat that fresh water cats do.

Jimmy, if you cut off the tail and hang the cats up to bleed, the mud taste is much less.

I got spined in the hand by one of those bastards in Mulege. My entire arm swole up for 2 days.
