Ron - I wish your brother well. I will pray for him. I would be glad to give blood, but I have a disease - the opposite of your brother's problem - I make too many platlets. I'm on chemo for that, so I can't donate.
I encourage all who can to donate regularly. I did for many years, then just got out of the habit. Now I no longer have the opportunity.
