I ve seen these blinking strobe light trolling jigs, is that worth the money ? $$$$ Now there are rainbow or color changing light refracting lures,( like the old bumper stickers ) maybe I am just too blind to see. Must be bullshit or else I am too blind too see.

Call me a tree or fish hugger if you want but do we really need to dump glitter in the ocean? One thing if it's biodegradable but dumping small bits of plastic in the water doesn't seem all that good to me, although I'm sure it works well to simulate fish scales and trigger a bite. I prefer to eat fish that eat fish and not plastic.

Back when I was doing hand-pours for a few tournament fishermen up north, my secret was to pour a little glitter in the molds as well as mixing into the plastic. My thinking was if a bass short bit it, some of the glitter would rub off simulating scales and prompting it to attack again. It worked.

Used to do that ice fishing only with broken up egg shells. Obviously you would need a lot of shells to make a 25 lb load, but they are bio and do flash kinda like scales.

| Got Bulk Glitter?
As mentioned on another thread I have lots of bulk white mica that can be used for chumming.
It is available in 55 lb bags @ $1 a pound or $55 a bag.
Below is a picture but does not really do the stuff justice. It is much brighter and glistens in real life. Also being a natural mineral does not pose any environmental issues.
Located in San Clemente. Feel free to contact me if interested.
