Question Rod advice needed....

I just bought a Daiwa Coastal reel and need recommendations for a rod. Plan to use it primarily for the wall in LB.
Thanks in advance....

Re: Rod advice needed....

Take a look at the Seeker 6' 60XF, im told it was designed specifically for the long beach breakwall, very stiff to pull toads and keep them from rocking you. PM me if you are interested in having one built. There are several other options available that are longer blanks. Good Luck.

I'm looking into the Seeker but the Gusa's a just a bit outside of my league ($$$).

Thanks for the input!

Re: Rod advice needed....

I fish my coastal with a seeker blue lightning inshore 807 with a trigger on 12 pound test. I also switched out the handle to a trinidad 12 or 14 handle (same). Perfect for the calicos in the kelp. The combo is good on chovies or small plastics. Good Luck!

Re: Rod advice needed....

Thank guys...I'm leaning towards a Seeker and the switching of the handle is a great idea. My friends were talking me into Clarus rods but I'm not as confident with them.
