Made A Reel Purchase After Many Questions; Avet 50 SDS any pre use instructions ?

Folks after much debating about Everols, Penns etc. I have gone and purchased an Avet 50 SDS, Melton are hooking me up with a Rod.

I still think I will add a Penn Baja Special to my kit if I can pick one up for $139 ?? and just put 30 pound mono on it.

The Avet 50 sds seemed to have a lot going for it and will be good for sharks and tuna and although over kill for king fish etc. will still do for those.......................I never want to be under reeled in case I get something bigger on the line than what I was going for. Went for the 130# spectra spooling with 100# abdepink top shot, its a silver one !!

thats good to know..................after the purchase got looking at the trx 50's, and almost swapped my order for one, but I thought the sds may be a little more of a versatile reel.......................and maybe I will have an excuse to add the TRX -50 in a couple of months by telling the missus that you really need a 100 pounds of drag for king fish I made a mistake buying the sds but it's used now and I cant return it, it's worth fuck all second hand so I may as well keep it and get the trx 50 as well
