Shimano TLD 10 and 15 Lever Drag

i fell upon a new TLD 15 lever drag.. cool little reel..

is it worth hotrodding??
after reading another great tutorial by Alantani on the Shimano Charter Special(which looks very similar) i'm amped to fix mine up..

what do you guys think?
anyone using these reels ??
i love bait fishing with lever drags....always knowing where your drag is set is awesome..

I have the tld 15. Sweet reel for 30#. I like it alot. I'm gonna get it freespooled. Not sure if I'll do it or send it to Hawk.

I have 2 tld 10's and was wondering the same thing......

the drag washer i use for both of these reels is a penn ht-100 #6-25. it's just a tad small for the tld 15, but it does work. for the tld 5 and 10, the drag washer has to be ground down to fit. i've actually been thinking of trying the avet drag washer. the penn washers have some high spots that can grab at lighter drag settings. the avet washers might be a better option, but i need to try a few first. alan
