Sounds like a great deal. I have the 20 and have used it for 10-years i think. Huge drag, almost like a small disk brak. I have caught tons of tuna and yellowtail on the reel. It was really the first of the spinners to have a big drag and be "big-game" fish capable.
I'm assuming the reel is in good condition.
Any of the real "rod and reel" shops like Kimura Tackle can fix just about anything on that reel.
Load the reel with spectra and put a 20#-25# flouro topshot on it. I used to put 100 yd topshot on mine, but now I go 25'.
It's American Made also.

I just got one a couple months ago, used it on a 6 day at cedros & offshore, good, solid, NO FRILLS, reels. pulled dodo and tails no problem. It is heavy, compared to Penn SS or a baitrunner, but i think that might mean good things. Figure that for 75 bucks you can't lose anything on it if its not to your taste. By the way-they are available for a lot lees than 249 new, I paid about 120-- see ohya.com

i ended picking up a spheros 14000 fa and a sedona 6000 fb for 100$, for both.

i arrived and and saw and picked up the fin nor. it was a good solid piece of machinery. i liked the piece and agreed to pick it off from him. i then saw in the corner a shimano conv. i wasnt sure which one it was but when i asked him about it it was a shimano trinidad tn30. i picked it up and asked what he was asking for it. he thought about it for a second and let it go for 175. long story short i drop the fin nor and got the trinidad 30 for 175.
