Has anyone had any experience with the daiwa sealine tournament 50 wide? I was thinking that it would be sweet with one of the crowder bluewater rods. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
My buddy has the 30's, 50's and has dozens of tuna over 300lbs and dozens of sharks over 600lbs and he absolutely loves them. He says the drags are smoother than Penns and shimano's. He says he hardly ever servcies them only opens em up once a year for oil and lube.
I personally would go with Avets if I had to do it over,

Somebody liked the contents of my car one night in Boat club. It was one of the items.
They way Underrated. Same as a lot of other Daiwa models.
I have a coupla SLD30's too. Single \two spd.
They a great reel in their size too.
I prefer them to the Inters and Tiagra's I've had.
Gearbox like a truck. Smooth as. and best drags avail. Apart from Accurate and Everol.
Definitely a step or two above the Avets.
