Its illegal to have, hold, save or whatever you want to call it, California Spinny Lobster tails. One MUST have the body attached to the tail at all times, right up to the point of cooking it. So, you guys that are posting about having a frezzer full of tails, guess what?

This is what I did last season. Works well. Just put them in the fridge the morning you want to eat them and by late afternoon they will be thawed.

Tommy is right also but I"m not worried about the Man showing up at my door.
