Seared Ahi has got to be the Best......

I've been stuffing myself with it for two days now and I'm not getting burned out at all. Just got done with a pan............and I have a woody.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Lawrys Seasoned Pepper
McCormick California Style Garlic Salt with Parsley

...........and you know the rest. Easy, Fast and Damn good.

Cooter... Try this...

cut the fillets into 2 " squares.
Melt butter or whatever your preference is.
Magic Blackened Redfish seasoning.

Lightly season and I do mean lightly season the squares with the seasoning. Brush on the melted butter on both sides.

Heat the grill to 500 degrees. Throw the chunks on for about 50 seconds.
Done....

I normally cook some white rice and place in a bowl. Lay out the chunks across the top and garnish with some assorted vegetables...

Delicious and very appealing.

I found a recipe on BBQ university. I've used it at least 10-times in the last 6-weeks.

1 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 cloves garlic (or garlic powder equiv.)
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper

Mash the above in a bowl using the back of a spoon or mortar and pestal.

Add
olive oil and lime juice to the mixture. place your fish chunks in a plastic bag and mix with the above. Grill on "hot" to sear and serve.

I am going to try both of your recipe's this week, sounds faster than what i've been doing and good. I've never heard of Magic Blackened Redfish seasoning, hope I can find it out here in the 909/951.
Thanks
Scott
