| I like this one...
Wasabi, (paste), little bit of low salt soy, little bit of cayenne, garlic powder, and black pepper, shot or two of Tabasco and a dash of Worcestershire, smoking butter, 30 seconds per side or until a thin pink line at center. Partake immediately with favorite sides, (rice), and/or favorite drink, (Sake). Seasoned mixture should be pasty, and stick to the fillets like gravy. Loin should be 2X2X4. Adjust cooking time/heat accordingly if using thicker pieces. The thin pink line is key.

I prefer mine with a thin GREY line around the outside.....like 20 seconds per side (5 sides....3 "edges" and the top and bottom). However, I will try it your way too.
Im right there with ya Curtis......seared Yellow Fin Tuna be my favorite.
Lobster, NOPE. Wahoo, NOPE. Fresh swordfish.......well,eh, maybe......
but the Yellow Fin Tuna is my "go to" meal.

Melt butter or whatever your preference is.
Magic Blackened Redfish seasoning.
Lightly season and I do mean lightly season the squares with the seasoning. Brush on the melted butter on both sides.
Heat the grill to 500 degrees. Throw the chunks on for about 50 seconds.
Done....
I normally cook some white rice and place in a bowl. Lay out the chunks across the top and garnish with some assorted vegetables...
Delicious and very appealing.
Max sends | Paul prudhomes blackened magic redfish seasoning is the bomb and not just on tuna, white seabass, calico, rockfish, yellowtail, you name it.There will always be a bottle in my home and in my rv.

caught my first yellowfin this year and had my first homemade seared ahi. I'm no cook and it was still better than anything i've ever had in a restraunt. my favorite fish dish by far.

The boat Hanna........... | Yeah the oils a little pricey but well worth the unique flavor of the sesami. Glad you liked it.
