cookin bugs

I got a few bugs last night and want to bbq them, I usually just boil the lil buddies but want to try something a bit different.

This is the plan,
boil for a couple minutes then finish on the grill,

or,

should I just do grill all the way?

I like to season them, put a little butter on them and then put them in a foil boat with some ice cubes. Cook on med heat for about 10 min then pull them out and grill them for 30 sec.

mmmm...

OK. This is THE BEST tip i can give you, other than butterflying them and grilling them about 8min shell down, 3-4 min meat down.

FRESH BASIL LEAVES cut up and melted in the butter.... HOLY SHIT IS THIS AWESOME!!

TRY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Why wait! I tail fresh by sliding a knife under the carapice and around the under side to release the tail and then grill belly side down for a few minutes on high and then split 'em and grill again meat side down with a baste of limes and butter before tossing em into my head. Chase with copious amounts of cold beer and repeat.

Try changing out the garlic for some ginger powder for variety
