Anyone use the new Calstar 700mh yet?

I just ordered one of the new 700MH rods to mate with an Avet JX6/3. This rod seems like it might be the perfect 40# rod in the Calstar lineup for bait / yo-yo. I hope so, 'cause that's what I'm going to try it with. I was literally seconds away from buying the 700H, but then went with the 700MH.

Anyway, anyone else try this one yet? Thoughts? Comments?

I spent a lot of time in Baja Fish Gear the other day and the 700mh was what I went in for. I really liked the rod but I ended up walking out with a Super Seeker 6470. The 700mh is much more parabolic than a SS 6470 and I wanted something that I can use more for the rail than for stand up. From what I was told and what I felt while pulling on both rods, the faster action is going to help a little bit when on the rail. In contrast, if you are planning on not using the rail, the parabolic bend should help a little when standing up and fighting a fish. FYI, right before I made my decision, it was down to the 700h or the 6470. Again, IMO rail rod = 6470 or 700h, stand up 700mh.

If you want someone who is going to give you a great description of both rods and spend a lot of time with you while you are making a decision between any rods, go see Sam at Baja Fish Gear. Great guy and knows hit stuff.
