Sounds like a sweet option Mikey. I know it pains you not going to Baja because of the shit, so this is a safe alternative. My only concern with Cedros is the on again off agin fishing that place can have - then being stuck on the island. I'm no expert, but the skippers I've talked to said it's the upwelling that can kill the fishing there. Hopefully you can use your contacts to get a recent fish report before dropping the $$ and getting stuck there.

I plan on fishing Cedros/Eugenia the week of the 6/23.

Is a bow defined as a "firearm" in Mexico? In other words, are permits required, etc.? And, if the yellowtail are so shallow, how about bowfishing?

Anyway, I'd love to try Cedros!

WOW, this looks awesome. Great prices, includes transportation and fish filleting and you fish everyday.

Sounds like we've been asking for it, and they built it. I will be trying this FO SHO. Let me know if you ladies put a trip together, id be happy to school all of you.

Small craft could turn cedros into a light tackle and topwater fishery. They say on the site you can catch yellow in real shallow water. How about 25# graphite tackle tackle with top water in shallow water for yellows.

I can see it now, fly fishing and the whole nine yards.

Give me the dates and let's figure out how we're gonna get the 10 footers on the plane.
