Red face I don't have a clue

I have been seeing a lot of posts regarding DFG regulations on fish you can catch, you can't, declarations etc. I understand the part about not needing a boat permit for Mexico and I also understand you do need a fishing license for mexico. I understand you have to do a declaration from Mexico if you fish Mexican waters and come back and check with customs, But I still have these questions:

Are the Coronado Islands in Mexican waters?

I don't get the different fish you can get in Ca. waters and the ones you can't. I have seen posts saying guys are keeping Sheepshead but the DFG website says we shouldnt be keeping this time of year?? I have looke at the DFG website and all it did was confuse me more.

Don't want to seem ignorant but I don't get it.......Can you help?

Thanks

Yes the Coronado Islands are in Mexican waters.

I would suggest you buy a navigational chart/map that shows where the mexican waters begin whereas you will have a clue.

They can be purchased @ most tackle shops.

1. Coronados are in Mexican Waters

2. Can't keep Goats right now.

3. Don't worry about it...everyone else is confused, too.

Yes the Cornados are in Mexican waters. You can keep the Sheepshead in Mexican water, but not in the US right now....
