Re: Strange offshore catch

last year at catalina, around the yellowtail point area, we were diving. Came up for a rest and heard some noise. A small deer comes crashing thru the surf and swims about half way out to us, turns, swims back to shore, up the hill and gone.
Didnt even know there were deer on Catalina.
Strange animals.
A few years back a buddy was hit and knocked off his motor cycle by a small buck near trabuco Canyon. He did not hit it, it hit him. T-boned him. Deer ran off. My buddy was hurt pretty bad.
And to think, guys cover themselves in pee and hide in bushes with camo to shoot em. Classic. Why not just run em over like normal people.

Re: Strange offshore catch

I made the mistake of doing that one time in our local river.. The deer did every thing but demolish our little jon-boat,kicked and scratched me and the other guy that was with me. We finally had to just kick her out of the boat. But it looks like yall had that one pretty content. Nice pics

Re: Strange offshore catch

The original one said it was in SC. I got it last Sept. way before the fires.

Funny how people twist the story around to fit the pics.
Not you Jake! Whoever sent it to you (or sent it to him).
