| anyone have any luck with the Braid Brute Buster fighting belt/harness setup?
i just bought this setup and it sets up fine... ive never used one before but i want to know if anyone has had any luck with them... let me know!

Yes they work awsome.Great for shark fishing.Transfers all the fight to your leg's.

They work great, we have broken them on big tunas before, but I still go with them. comfortable!!

I use the full wide back belt and the brute buster on drop straps, the plate could be a little heaver I think, as it would not tend to climb as much. To anwser your question, yes they work well.

I'm looking at these. I like the Alutecnos plate and the Aftco harness. OTR is supposed to be an outstanding harness as well. Aftco Maxforce Stand Up Harness and Aluminum Rod Belts
I like this plate because of the cup for the rod butt. No sliding when cranking hard against a lot of drag. Mine is a private boat application and I would not have to clear to get around other anglers or other obstructions. Those are things to consider when locking in. I'll also have a safety strap for the solo gig. Alutecnos Fighting Belts and Harnesses
I like the Alutecnos pro-bucket harness too but the Aftco will be cooler and provide almost as much support.
