Shark Rumor?

A buddy at a job sight said he heard of a kayaker sighting a 20ft. shark of L.J. in the last few days. Cleared the cove by the auth. I was out there all day Sunday with a friend. Anyone here of such a report. He claims he saw it on T.V. Iam throwing the B.S. Card at him.

Well I'll be Andy! I still will go out on the Yak of L.J. When the sharks start eating the seals I'm gonna throw a party!

Re: Shark Rumor?

Yeah...... mention a 20 ft. shark of any species off of La Jolla and the Scientist and Iceman are trying to figure out which gear they are going use when they slay the beast....:rofl :Shit they have caught everything else La Jolla has to offer Whiteshark would be a Bonus on the resume.
Report from Scripps Biologist said Whiteshark not likely due to time of year water temps and feeding patterns ?????

Re: Shark Rumor?

we spotted about a 20-22 ft great white off of del mar on a charter last season eating a dead grey whale (no not the same one that washed ashore). pretty impressive to say the least.
