I dont know how many of you save your newspapers but in the oc register on Friday 11/30 there was a 25% off coupon for sport chalet good for one item only. could be a good way to get a new rod or reel at a good price. I got 2.

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunatly for me, I am in the market for a Teramar and they usually don't work for Shimano porducts. Just a heads up, if you are looking to buy something at Sport Chalet, make sure you reed that fine print to see if there is a restriction on your item.

Same at Sports Authority...Shimano and Penn products are normally excluded. I used a 25% off coupon on a Seeker rod yesterday at Sports Authority.

well we got a torium 16 and a tiagra 30 yesterday for 25% off in foothill ranch sooo it cant hurt to try.

I work at a Sport Chalet. So if anyone ever has questions on if there allowed to use that coupon in the future, just pm me. When that coupon comes out there are usually 5 or 6 compaines that are excluded in that offfer. Last time Shimano was one of them, but this pass weekend none of the fishing brands were excluded. We sold 2 penn 30 wides for 412 each. Its and awesome deal, except us employees cant use it.
