Re: Laguna niguel lake

If shore fishing try getting a spot near the launch ramp for using stuff outta the jar, Flyfishing use midges olive or grey & sometimes black- the 3-pipes is a popular area as is the flats. have fun!

Re: Laguna niguel lake

They have the Utah trout back this year. I know when they stocked them before, they were real fighters. Don't be afraid to throw a couple of salmon eggs on about a 18 inch leader in shallow water. It might work.

Re: Laguna niguel lake

Soaking a bait is a standard at most of the pay and take lakes. Try using an 18-24 inch 2lb leader, forming the PB or what ever you are using into a tadpole shape about 1 1/2". Cast it as far as you can, after it has settled start a slow "hop" about every 7-8 seconds. This method absolutely kills em at Laguna Niguel even on the slowest of day.
