| Kudos to East Coast anglers!
I found this thread on another forum (having to do with Parkers).
They dun good!
Maybe we could get some sponsors and start something like this for 2008? Our boat and crew are good to go.
Dave COPIED... The local Old Salts Fishing Club held their annual "fishing tournament" for developmentally challenged kids this Saturday. Captains took 35 kids and their parents out for a 4 hour fishing "trip" (about 800 yards from shore), followed by a cookout, ice cream and prizes for all the kids. The professional captains donated Zebco 202 combos, bait buckets, plastic worms, hats etc., We caught everything from grunt, keeper trout, keeper SP Macs, ladyfish, grouper and even a needlefish. I have to tell you, I got more excited for these kids watching them pull in a little pinfish than hooking into a 40lb Wahoo. Just thought I would pass this along. If any of you have an opportunity to participate or sponsor something like this, you will NOT regret it.
