Reel Service "Real Service"

After doing some rockfishing (jigging) with (Harry) aka: Seadawg, I decided to get a couple of rigs to suit my taste for this style of fishing. Being the cheapskate I am, I found a pair of Shimano Tekota's, a 500, and a 600, on amazon.com for lets say, about half what they cost new. So I make the deal, when I get them, one of them doesnt feel right when hitting strike. I decided to take them into Shimano for service, as well as taking my Torium 16 in for the free drag upgrade. well I got them back today, and to my surprise, not only did they get serviced, they got new spools, gears, bearings etc...
I dropped 40$ total, but in return I got 3 reels that are like new. I just wanted to pass this along for those of you with Shimano gear, freakin awesome service.

Whats up Greg?

I like those reels for codding. Shimano customer service is great!

Now where did you find them for that price???

I sure the hell wish Shimano gave that kind of service in Canada.

Here use a completely different model of 'agencies' who do the work and are 100% about making money-service is skimpy and expensive.
