Keep your eyes out

My folks boat was broken into in DP Harbor and some fishing gear was stolen. Almost all gear was Shimano (Trinidads 20 and 30's. Tld's. most rods are Shimano Calcutta series both standard and Roller guide 7') If you see any suspiciuos sales please PM me. These A holes really tore up the boat so make sure you keep yours buckled up just in case it's not an isolated incident.

thanks,
Jeff

Very sorry to hear of your loss. It would appear as though @ least once a week we read of the same thing.
Good luck with the recovery of your gear.

I'm surprised more people aren't putting alarm systems on boats.

Re: Keep your eyes out

Check the pan shops in the area and also leave word with any tackle shops.
They will try to sell them. Also I know it sounds crazy but walk the piers locally.
Maybe even the swap meet in Costa Mesa.
I have had guys approach me in Newport and King Harbor trying to sell poles and reels. . They can usually be spotted by the yellow teeth or lack of them. Good luck it really sucks.

Keep you're eyes on craigs list. I often sleep on my boat as I live in Victorville but work in LA. Did I mention I keep a XD45 with me. Would be a great day for us honest individuals. Sorry to hear of the loss.

Re: Keep your eyes out

It's getting so bad that a friend of mine had the props taken of his boat in thr harbor in Redondo beach now that takes some balls. The boat was in his slip when he went down to go out the boat would'ent move cost him around 1800 to replace both props.
