During the week of the 23d of this October I’m taking some groups of wounded marines from the rehab unit at the hospital out for half day fishing trips. Probably four or five trips of four or five marines per trip will be going over a three day period. I went to the DFG web site and it looks like I have to get each of them a one day license. Is this correct or is there some obscure exemption. Its not a big deal but getting the licenses when the names will be somewhat last minute will be a hassle.
In May the Gallilean, San Diego, took out 2 groups of Injured vets from the Balboa Naval Hospital We made arrangements with the Gov's office who waved licenses for the vets on the trip.

There are "free" 5 year liscenses for 3 catagories. Blind, physical disability and developmental disability. They require a Dr. signiture. The DFG sends it to you on request, You sign , Dr. signs, send back to DFG. They return it. Good for 5 years.
You still need to purchase "Ocean Enhancment" stamp for a few bucks. Hard to do last minute, but they do have them.
Way cool of you Yale, When we did the Warrior trip in feburary I went to the DFG office in Kearny Mesa off of Viewridge Dr. They were very helpful and cheap and answered a ton of questions for me
