Every year we hear about something like this. Last summer some poor guy in a 14' skiff drowns his kid going out in weather like this. We were in town and it was devastating to everyone. Weather was bad, big waves even surfers stayed on shore.
What in the world would convince someone it won't happen to them. Maybe somebody chains off the ramp. I don't know. This story turned out o.k. but could have been worse.

Actually that's no mystery, it's just a matter of time...
and they're better off with out it... remember friends don't let friends buy Bayliners, or Force motors.

What, no hoop netters have anchors??? That is just stupid. If you hang the prop, plow it out to open water, if even for 10 seconds until you lose the motor, and drop the pick! And it was a 27ft. bayliner. So either it was 2 force outboards the world was rid of, or it was an I/O. So, you'll have to pick which of those you hate most and want to bag on!!!

I don't think it was the boat or motors fault...I think it was the guy that pulled out of the harbor..
