ID this Billfish
Caught this little Billie off the top of Australias Northern Territory last weekend and at a bit of a loss with Id. We usually only get Sails or Blacks but this one seems to be neither. Bill is missing about 6in.

SHORTBILLED SPEAR FISH - NO DOUBT. CAUGHT ONE BACK IN THE 70's OFF CATALINA ISLAND. THEY ARE RARE IN SO. CAL. DON'T KNOW ABOUT DOWN UNDER.
