Have noticed in the counts the Yellowfin are the catch and the Albacore are no more. Anyone know the size of the Yellowfin? Hope were not taking the real small guys.

Well if the weather was just a little nicer on the outside, there would be albacore in the counts.

Re: Yellowfin Tuna

I had a friend who went out labor day and 5 (mexican limits) fit in a 5 gallon water bucket (uncut). But it sounds like they're getting a little bigger.

Sort of thought that was going to be the case. Wish they would drive away from fish that small .....it's tomorrow's fish.

They're catching 50-60 pounders at Guadalupe, only 4 days away. . . It won't be too long before they're here! HOPEFULLY. . .

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooookup!
I am glad you have made it a personal goal to preserve the stocks of the wild yellowfin tuna in Mexican waters, quite a task for one person don't you think.

Take your soapbox and all your intellect back to your peta website!

Well it you be "you guys" not were. "were" would refer to us as whole including yourself, since you have to ask, you have not been out nor caught any of the fish you ask about.

There is no way in hell sporfisherman would ever impact the species by taking smaller fish.

Purse seiners off the New Guinea take most of the fish, so post on their site
