Re: Bouncing for rockcod jigs

Someone here said recently "There`s a little rockfisherman in all of us". I love it!!
My favorite jig is a 8oz diamond. But anything heavy will work. My favorite reel is a Shimano Tekota 600LC. The LC stands for line counter. It`s SO cool to meter fish at say 200' in 250' of water and drop your jig right on them. It`s also cool to see how far from the boat the fish is when you are reeling up. Only bummer about this real is a lack of power and speed. But it really does make it all more fun and that`s what it`s all about!!
