FAQ: How do I post a picture?

  1. Manage Attachments (good for a single picture)
  2. Using the gallery
  3. Using a host



Manage Attachments

Below the posting area there is an advanced section.
Find "Manage Attachments" button


Click the image to open in full size.

Click on it. This window pops up.

Click "browse" and find the file you would like to upload.

When you are done finding the files you would like to upload click "upload" and wait for them to upload.

Once the files are uploaded it will look like this. Close window.

Submit post and it will look like this.

With a single upload it will show the picture. With multipule it will show links. This method is good for posting a single picture from your computer


Using the gallery

This feature is for registered members only. Upload many photo's to put in a post.

Click on the "gallery" button at the top of bloodydecks

Once at the Gallery Sign in!

Once signed in click "upload photo's"

Pick which photo forum you would like to put it in. You get your own forum as a member gallery. Click browse and find the files you would like to add.

Once you found all the files you want to upload click submit

It uploads the files and takes you to a page where you can fill out info on each photo. Fill out what you would like.

Once it's done it says no more photo's. Then click on the link in the top left hand corner that says "My Gallery" to get to what you have uploaded.

Click on the picture you want to have in the post. There is a "UBB" code link. Highlight and copy (rightclick mouse/ copy, or ctrl-c)

This is where I have 2 differant internet browser windows open. One to upload photo's and one to write my post.
Paste (rightclick mouse/paste, ctrl-v) the "link" in to your post. You can write around the link all you want to position it wherever you want. Finish the post and you are done.

Using a host
www.momentoffame.com www.myfishingpictures.com etc...

Same thing. Get a link to the file by rightclicking on the picture on their server. Paste it in to the post BUT you need to add the "tags" to it. Place link between [img]linkgoeshere [/img] hence img=image

Yep movies the same way. 100meg max. mpeg, mpg, asf, wmv, mov only.

how do you change a pic so its less than 200 mps and put it on your avater thanks ............ fish?:

You need some type of photo editing program such as Photoshop or photoeditor...something that came with your computer.

Download the avatar you want (if it's online, right click and save as).

Open that avatar and go to image size and change it to at least 200pixels wide or tall (max).

The use your "User CP" on your menu bar at the top of any screen and upload it from wherever you saved it to on your harddrive. You'll use "browse" to look for it.

Then save changes.
