what kind of glue????

I'm making hollow spectra wind on leaders (going from mono to spectra to bigger mono). I'm half hitching with floss and then need to glue it. I've made dacron wind ons and used super glue with mixed results I see a lot of different suggestions for glue, what kind can I get from a local hardware or ???? store?

Thanks

Re: what kind of glue????

I've used the JB with fair results but I'm also fairly new to this. I hear good things about Swifty and have the glue. I just have not used it yet. It's sealed and in the fridge. Don't put the glue in the fridge after you open it and I "hear" it loses some strength after 6 months or so. I was serving and glueing my serves and they put up with a lot! Almost 40% drag settings on big fish (25lb flouro inside 60lb hollow on almost 60lb Yellow Fin Tuna.)

Re: what kind of glue????

JB's Line One adhesive works well but it's a little pricey

Ringed Hooks, Owner hooks, Hayabusa Hooks, Eagle Claw Hooks, Mustad Hooks, VMC,Jerry Brown spectra,Penn International Hooks,www.RingedHooks.com has it.
