| Place to stay with kids in SD/Mission Bay
Anyone have any input on the resorts around SD/ and Mission Bays. Staying somewhere with the wife and kids this weekend. Looking at Paradise Point, Catamaran Resort, maybe Marriot ? Any ideas or input on a nice place to stay down there? Not bringing the skiff for this trip. Defintley will bring a couple rods though. I will head out and fish from the rocks/beach somewhere before the family gets up in the morning for sure.

Check out The Dana on Mission Bay as well. It's right on the water and next to the Dana Landing launch ramp. I've caught plenty of Spotties just throwin' plastics from my dock. Early morning / late afternoon seem most productive.

Check out the Bahia resort and hotel across the street from Seaforth and Mission beach. Or if you want to be inland 5mins. the Best Western Seven seas on hotel circle. Both have great rates and are close to everything.

Any of the hotels on the harbor island strip in p.l. are good and you can walk to the strip right in front of the hotel and pick up bass and butts. Plus tom hams is at the end and that place is good eatins.

Also their restaurant is closed and the property is in a general state od disarey.
On the other hand, I'm sure their rates are low due to the construction.

Thanks for all the info everyone. The Dana Inn sounds sweet. My wife made reservations at Pleasure Pointe last night . Gonna make the best of it. It is gonna be hard to keep me from fishing the Barefoot Grill lagoon. Tight Lines!
