Dude, First off Huntington beach is a small area. the San Diego area is probably 250 times larger than HB. Every city and COUNTY has its areas with undesirables.

SD County is bigger than a few countries. Leave that shit out unlocked, it will get lifted. I was as pissed as you when my boat got jacked up. I woulda shot and reloaded about 6 times if I woulda interrupted em.

Ok include the WHOLE Orange County area. Is that ok? Was just saying there are a lot of posts about this kind of shit from the SD area. Am I wrong? Didn't think so.

Actually there is some validity to your point. I went to this website Crime Statistics - CityRating.com for some statistics. There does appear to be a lower crime rate for Huntington Beach versus San Deigo per capita although I believe it is very difficult to compare a city with a population od 195,000 people versus a city with 1,272,946 people. I also noticed La mesa did in fact have a higher crime rate for burglary and Larceny/Theft than Huntington Beach and was a much smaller city. So, i stand corrected and I guess you are right. Although in my opinion you are still comparing a very small geographical area with all of San Diego. Now if you take Orange County and LA County and add them together this would be more of a comparison accept population would swing the other way. Of course none of this changes my opinion of the fact that you have taken several communities of a County and lumped them together. you act like you don't have a theft problem in Huntington Beach. You can look at the statistics asnd see that you do. So it appears to me your shit hole just isn't quite shitty as mine but I'm not a pompous arrogant ass about mine either.

Re: Stolen Motor in La Mesa

That really sucks, when people just take things that don't belong to them.
I've got a nice Yamaha 9.9 four stroke remote start if you need to replace your missing motor.

Good luck on finding what was yours before some lowlife mother fucker took it.

Not being a "pompous arrogant ass" just said I'll stay here and actually I'm quite shocked at the number of theft posts coming from the SD area. As fishkiller said I too love SD and have always said if I were to move from this area I'd probably move to SD. There's a mountain being made out of a mole hill here.

"Pompous Ass" out. Giving the thread back to it's owner.

Re: Stolen Motor in La Mesa

Hey Guys!
I didn't intend to start a debate/argument! I love living in La Mesa, I was born here in 1958 and have lived in various places in SD since settling in my current house 23 yrs ago.
My motor was locked and parked in front of my house. It was not in my driveway because of the RV parked there which hopefullywill be going soon!
I've got a 5 hp merc for now. I would rather have 4 stroke for the better emissions and the 15 for the power. I don't need a killer 250 hp Skeeter or Ranger, although I would to LOVE have one!
Bottom line as I am sure all of you would agree is I just want to "GO FISH"
This forum has been really great and I greatly appreciate all of your comments and advice.
Go fishing and have a GREAT DAY!
Phil from La Mesa.

Re: Stolen Motor in La Mesa

Welcome to the asylum Phil, It sucks to hear about your motor but the way you are handleing it says a ton about your character. You have a spare motor and are back in the drink doing what you love allbeit at a slower speed but things will turn around for you soon bro
