FAMILY T LOS CORONADOS??

I want to bring the family down to the Islands for a day or fun on the anchor-no fishing while my wife is on the boat.

Is there a spot to toss the anchor and swim?

There are a couple coves you could anchor up in....you can't go on the Island.....I've been swimming there!....

.....for about 2 hours untangling and cutting tuna pen lines off my propellers....

Not sure if this is true but I was told all people on the boat must have Mex permits (fishing or not) if there are any fishing rods on the boat. Is this true?

Yes....all persons on the boat....no matter of age.....fishing or not must have a license....

You could probably swim @ the dive spot - Lobster shack, lee side of North Island. Sometimes lots of flys though.

Don't forget about the boat permit aswell.

I've heard there is a nice big White Shark hanging out right now so be cautious and don't swim anywhere near the seals. I am dead serious and a little suprised we haven't heard more reports on BD about it this week.

ive heard the same thing, in the 300-400 lb range .......she's a biggun. there might be a few pix of her around here somewhere, I think it was a moo moo that was looking for chickens when the report of the "white" came in, but im not sure

thanks to all. we never went but will soon. i do have a permit for the boat and yes you need fishing permits for all if you have gear on the boat.
