LR Fleet OK to fish Guadalupe or not allowed?

No boats have ventured there in July based on my records? Are wrist bands being offered by the Mexican government? Wondering if anyone has the dope from the LR operators as to the status of fishing this island as an option for late Juyly and in August???? I recognize Cedros is good right now...but at some point the boats on 5 days fish Guadalupe and I heard an un-confirmed report that the Mexi govt ain't providing wrist bands to the US boats.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Re: LR Fleet OK to fish Guadalupe or not allowed?

my buddy just got back from a 7 dayer today, 7/26 and they couldn't fish Guadalupe... protected biosphere right now while they assess the Great White population (or so they told him)
they ended up fishing the larger yellows at Cedros, and some bluefin off SQ, but the seiners were out in force. one day they actually had to fish for reds/lings/etc..
no too good a trip. some albies, some bluefin Yellowtail up to 40 pounds. not a lot but a good variety
