New tackle & rod shop

Started the new business

No Limits Tackle.....retail location opening ?????......but will take orders now & have the availability to do custom rods...setting up all my accounts & looking for a shop right now...

would appreciate some input as to what you like & don't like about other tackle stores...as well as items you would like to regularly be in stock that you may have a hard time getting at other stores

Input is appreciated...would definately like some help with a web site

i would definitely like a tackle shop that stayed open past 5 or 6 o'clock like boss bait and tackle, and squidco. also something i really like about boss is their selection of swimbaits where you could chose exactly what you want by hand rather than having to buy packs of them. and when you start looking for employees let me know so i can apply

It will be cool doing something that I really enjoy doing....but I want to make it different....any location ideas...not looking for anything huge, just a simple shop that I can carry a few line of stuff & be able to give a good & fair price.

What I don't like about other tackle shops: employees with an attidude. Customer service is key. All customers should get treated with dignity and respect, whether they are salmon egg and red/white bobber guys or Dan H. I've been in many shops, too many to count where the sales staff were just downright pompus.

Screw that.

The way I see it, everyone's money is green, and todays snoopy rod dude is tomorrow's offshore machine.

What general area are you considering for your shop?

Not sure where yet....wasn't sure how much it mattered how close I was to the landings.....I think as long as I had a good central location it shouldn't matter too much....

Congratulations,

I live in Bonita and can tell you that there are no shops anywhere in the Southbay. I always thought something close to some of the ramps would work, they are both freeway close. I am talking about J street and 24th Street.

Let me correct myself.
There is one place in the Southbay in IB but it did not impress me the last time I went in a few years ago.
