Lock up your gear. There has been a handful of break-ins at campland storage.
They got away with all my tackle. Lots of iron, swimbaits and terminal gear.

Thanks for the heads up, I've been lucky there so far. No need to press my luck. My boats backed right up against a fence that borders a neighborhood and a high school...and a gate...nobody would ever think about entering through there...besides, Fishburger has all the good shit.

Sucks, I was just there this weekend too. Thought my longboard got jacked, looked all around for it. Than my wife pointed out to me that I put on top of the trailer........ Don't leave anything in your boat there, there's sooooooo many people in that place.

That sucks. Do they have security guards there? One would think with the prices you pay.

If that is a reoccuring problem there, someone should camp out in their boat. When he comes, tie his ass up and use him as chum the next day. A bad night could turn into an excellent day of shark fishing!
I hate a damn thief! I don't have much, but I've worked for every damn thing I got!!

Not me Bro! ALL my shit gets packed up and brought home. Although, ever since I started giving sime filets to the stoners who run the surf camp in the back of the loop, I haven't had any problems. They're always there, and keep an eye out for the deuchbags. Quote:

West Marine has a motion alarm w/ a keypad for $60 that screams if a loser theif gets on your boat. Then get stickers saying the boat has a cellular alarm and put it on both sides of you trailer. I would not count on it but at least it's something.
