World's Best Bait Tank (Not really)

After our trip yesterday this gem of a setup caught my eye. The terrible Kmart fishing gear started it, then the janky rod holders. But then the "bait cooler" setup really grabbed my attention.

Igloo cooler on the stern with the wiring in the water attached to the pump which was attached to the top of the stern drive! Yes!

In this shot you can sort of see the drain on the cooler was open.

And in the final picture you can see how the water draining out of the cooler was going straight into a hatch and sinking the boat. See bildge pump constantly pumping out water. Enjoy

And yeah, Islands 6 Yellowtail.

Holy Crap!!! Ther is the picture for the Jerry Rigged award of the year. That is the best one I have seen this year and I have seen some shit out here in PA. Major switch from leisure to sport right there. He might not be able to tell why he is sinking when the bildge burns up!!!! I am Hispanic and and I would dub that "WABBED OUT". Littlle chutanthaa. Bet there is some little house speakers some where wired up.

Juryrigged maybe. But the brass plated door hinges on the cooler with the rust line dripping down is a nice touch.

Lookds like the drain and intake lines are going through the swimstep, not into the bilge. Is the water running out for some other reason?

Check the drain plug on the cooler, as I mentioned. It drain straight into the hatch on the port side of the boat.

Why, why, why? Do you think some boat salesman just pulled off the greatest bullshit sale ever? "Yes sir this is the best of both worlds, family comfort and with a few add ons this bad boy will be a fish killing machine."
