thats not a sale..You still have to buy the reel. any local tackle shop will usually give you free line with the purchase of a new reel.

Shimano's are fair traded. Giving free/discounted line is like discounting the reel. They don't allow that.

I've gotten free P-line on two reels purchased at different Turners, just have to ask!

Seriously, Shimano's pricing policies are a joke. I can't believe this type of sale, discount, whatever, wouldn't apply to Shimano reels.

I got that one beat...

Couple-3 weeks ago Sport Chalet ran an ad in WON for p-line in bulk for ".1 c per yd". I think they're normal price is 3-4 cents per...

I went to the Torrance store and showed the mgr the ad with the decimal place and he granted me the ad price! Managed 2500 yds ea of 30/40#, cost me just over $5 with tax...

However, I think he was already on the phone with the regional office about the ad before I left the store...
