Comments on new boat purchase.

I am new to this forum and have been involved in freshwater fishing the most. I am planning to start fishing some saltwater, mostly bay and some outside the
break water.
I am looking at purching a new Triumph 190 BAY with
a 150 HP Yamaha 4 stroke.
I would like some opinions on this combinations for
this type of saltwater use. This boat will also be used
in freshwater.

I own a 17' logic, and i absolutely love it.

I've been as far out as the 425-302-371 in it on real good days so dont limit yourself to the bays and coast. Start out close and pick your days to learn how to navigate and read the water for weather and conditions to take advantage of the ocean bounties.

Mostly i fish the kelp beds and local area's for Yellowtail, Calico's and Butts and BIG Lingcods and have a blast.

Your choice of boats in my opinion is great as they are quiet, and practicly indestructable.

Glen, I just bought a 150cc Triumph and I love it. The thing is amazazing. Triumph's are incredible.
