BAC now has a Shark release board
Last night at our board meeting for the Balboa Angling Club it was made offical.Along with our other button awards for killed fish .We now have a Shark Release board. Buttons will be awarded for Makos and Threshers in all weight classes,from 2lbs test up to 80 lbs test.I don.t know this for a fact but I beleave we,BAC, are the first club on the coast to award anglers for releasing sharks. It works just like a marlin release board and at the end of the year the angler with the most releases will recive the shark conservation award.
I worked very hard on getting this done and if any of you guys from other clubs would be interested in doing the same at your club please PM me and I will help you get the same going for your club.............. Bill
