I have only been once, for a day or two. Check out Baltimore. Damn good crab cakes there by the Yaaaard. (Camden Yard that is). Give Annopolis a look see also. Very cool.

Feeshing in December??? Doubtful.
Go to the Smithsonian and the memorials and call it a trip. If you really want to try, you would need to try and contact someone in the Virginia Capes area for some inshore fun.

I lived there for a short time, but couldn't wait to get back here for fishing. I suppose I should've given it a better chance, but I was almost a deckhand on the island boat here, and didn't want to lose my place in the pecking order.

I grew up in Maryland and remember fishing the Potomac River a few time in the winter. Try to see if you can find Georgetown park. But if you have time you really should head to the Chesapeake Bay and ride one of the head boats in MD or to one of the lakes up in the Shenandoah park in VA. You most likely will have a better chance of a good catch.

I smoked crack in DC. Franconia to be exact.
I also saw the first "Out of School Boogie" there at RFK, Go Go music, ask the locals. Little Benny and the Masters, Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers, AM FM, Hot Cold Sweat, Junk Yard Band, EU etc. This was in 85, 86 or 87.
Fish the Potomac.
Oh yea, if you want Wizard tickets let me know. I'll get you a couple. No joke.
