| Hook-up
Mr. Snook's pic inspired me to post this pic. We were out chasing Thresher's off of O'side (remember there are no fish in O'side) and it seems we hooked something else.....This is what happened when my fishing 'Buddy' (I like to call him my deckhand) couldn't handle his beer or the fish. Usually keep bolt cutters on board and it just so happened that I had just loaned them to a neighbor.........so in we came and found someone with a pair of bolt cutters tuff enough to cut the 9.0 hook. Afterward we poured some beer on it and off we went. I tried telling the dumbass that if I pissed on his hand it wouldn't get infected...he didn't buy it. Couple of stitches and he was fine.
Hoping the Thresher's start up soon... we got our first of 06' in January.

We had already wound them in and he was just pulling the Siwash hook out of the nose when it ripped out easier than expected and the momentum kept pulling, ripping the Treble loose from the belly area and right into the Dumbass's hand. At the time his left hand was holding the Mac and his right was pulling. It didn't help that the sea's were mixed up and the boat was a rockin.' What makes the pic look Sick is the chunk of Mac belly stuck to the hook. He said the Tetnus shot hurt more than the hook....I think being sober had something to do with it. I guess it could have been worse......imagine a Thresher attached to the Siwash and then accidentally getting bit by the Treble...you better hope it rips out or that you can chew or cut your hand off as the fish is sounding!! Here's another pic, a little different angle.
