Too early to tell - power is out at the moment. There are some folks on the baja nomad site that live down there and as soon as power is back I'm sure they will check in with a report.

Re: The Ranch and Big John

John Ireland was on the LTH show this morning and reported that they got hit pretty hard with all power/phone lines down but the hotel came through without any signifecant damage. He said that all guests had been evacuated the day before and that Mgr. Gary and family had hunkered down and rode it out. He also said that they should be back in operation in a couple of days. Only real problem was no power for the elec. pump for fresh water well. I,m sure they have a back up generator for that. Any more info on the East Cape region would be appreciated as I have many friends in that area.
