OK, I know this is short notice but I'm headed down to Sunset Marine to pick up the TREBLE MAKER for a sea trial. I figure if I'm getting her wet then I might as well fish. This will be my first time out of Oceanside, so anyone have some fishing spots or general directions that I should go. I'm leaving around 11 and I figure that I 'll be on the water at noon.

Thanks Frank, I spoke with guys at the shop and they think that the choke was "sticking", the ran her on the dyno and no problems. Sorry to hear about you rig but at least you'll be ready for the summer.

we were gettin some small butts at the golfball a week ago, 60 ft of water seemed to be the magic depth. alot of raked baits so set up the trap rig. good luck.

Golf ball is just north of Oceanside ( you cant really miss it, quite obvious)and Barn kelp is close by.
