| Have you been caught??????????
With all the reports of WFO yellows at the islands, I want to go (with everyone else) but I dont have a mexi boat liscense or fishing, and everyone is closed right now. Should I just try my luck at the 181, since I'm in O'side and wait, or go for it manana to the nados????

I'd strongly suggest not going into mex waters if you aren't correctly licensed. While the odds of you getting tagged aren't high, the consequences IF YOU DO aren't worth it. Likely confiscation of your boat plus ????

Have you ever been stuck for day, weeks, months, in the T.J. jail?
Have you ever had all your belongings removed from you, not to be returned.
Have you ever called someone and asked them to bring a ton of cash to Mex. to get you out of jail only to find out when they get there the price has gone up?
I'd get the mexican license........... but then again, I squat to pee like Bill. |

It's too bad we don't have the same penalties here for fishing without the proper permits.
I say go, then there will be one less boat to deal with at the ramp.
Really just do the right thing. (and yes you know what that is)

It's not only the mexicans you have to deal with. If USA Customs or the Coast Guard pulls you over in USA waters and you do not have a mexican license they are obligated by tready to cite you as well. Big fine.

Hey Stan, don't tell him that. You know it's ok to drink the water. That's just on old wives tale. Kind of like the Mexican Navy. Everyone knows they don't have a Navy. Rates right up there with corrupt Mesican Coppers. EVERYONE knows they are all kind, fair, and just looking out for you.
