1st post. im from the central coast. and pleased to be a registered member of this august body of experts. my vises are long range, central coast albacore, rockfish. going on a 7 day on the searcher june 10-17. trip goes to the rocks - hardly seems there will be enough fishing time while there. im used to boat rides however- crossed the equator in 1974 on the uss long beach and spent 90day and 67 day line periods at yankee station and norstar. hence the moniker, shellback. thanks for reading.

Keeping the fingers crossed for a local Albacore/Blue Fin Tuna run this year! Let's hope it happens. A few of us locals have a couple trips scheduled out of SD just in case.
