SO, I am going to try and bag my first legal WSB...

We are going to go fish the grey bite at Catalina in a week, we plan on getting the live squid.

so....what next, pin the squid on a jig(what color/size) or what??

Drop it to the bottom and bring it up a few cranks or what???

Any tip's would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks, Russ.

If your fishing Shallow , white leadhead, or sliding sinker 2/0-3/0 Hook. Work your bait.

Deepwater- Reverse Dropper loop would be Fine .(Hook on top Sinker on the Bottom) Couple of Cranks off the bottom..

Dark/gray light = glow jig+squid

Daylight = White leadhead + squid

If they're biting it doesn't really matter. Hard part is the right place/right time thing.
