rock cod rod????

i need a rod specifically for rock cod fishing from 150-300ft of water with 6-16oz weights
must be atleast 7ft and not too expensive
right now i am using a seeker 665h with a penn 501 spooled with 50lb spectra
it is a fine set up but i want a rod specifically for this situation

i am thinking about the graftechs
any suggestions

Pfft. My workhorse rock cod outfit is a Shimano Tekota 500 on a Seeker 670. The rod has enough sensitivity for the deep drops and 50# spectra as well as enough backbone to handle 16+ oz of weight--and the price is right.
