Hot sauce is really thick jelly like. It gets hard to squeeze out. I tend to like to use Smelly Jelly. Easy to use and damn it smells cast after cast.
Take the hot sauce, take the cap off, then squeeze a glob of it into a ziploc bag. Mash the stuff up in the ziploc and leave it out in the sun on your boat while your fishing. Then every 5-10 casts, drag the bait through the ziploc, and presto, no problemos getting your shit all messy with the Hot Sauce.
