Got Trout Gear?

I do now.
I was bored today so I broke out the trout gear, inventoried everything, called Kevan & Curtis at Noahs and placed an order to replace missing stuff and of coarse add to the arsenal

. Getting a bunch on new trolling lures, terminal tackle & 2 new ultra light rod and reel combos. He asked if I wanted it shipped or have Curtis bring it up to Orange County,,,, Hmmmmm... Looks like I'm meeting up with Curtis tomorrow afternoon, Pretty darn cool! I didn't even have to get my butt off the sofa & miss any NCAA football games. I'm good to go for the season, thanks Kevan & Curtis.
I'm ready for So. Cal. trout time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thinking about taking the kids back up to Big Bear again next Sunday before it gets too cold. My 8 yr. old daughter & 5 yr. old son slayed the bows twice this year up there and they want thirds

. We rent a pontoon boat from 8am-4pm then hit Captains Quarters Restaraunt for prime rib before running back down the hill. My daughter does all the driving (and pretty darn good at it too), so it makes it alot easier on dad

. I've been using cop car and fire tiger needle fish, and black/white small rapalla up there with great success. So I called Curtis & Kevan yesterday and asked "what else do I need in my arsenal?". Just picked up a bag of goodies and loaded up the fresh water tackle box for the season. It's pretty cool to have a couple of kids that love to get out on the lakes, I want to enjoy the moments while before they're gone.
